American political system is less diverse due to the lack of participation. The government should represent the people of all communities such as people of color, LGBTQ community, etc., but due to the lack of participation, the representative does not reflect all sections of the community.  People should be educated about the political system and they must know that if they do not participate what harm they will cause to the country. In this way, participation can be increased as most people does not have any idea about the political system and do not participate due to a lack of knowledge
